# What happens if I have a break in my weight loss treatment?

Consistency is key for long term success. If you miss a dose by a few days, you can usually take it as soon as you remember. If you have a break in treatment of less than 14 days, you can usually resume your current dose. However, if your break is 14 days or longer, your body will lose its tolerance to the medication. For your safety, you must restart your treatment from the lowest introductory dose. Always contact our clinical team for personalized advice if you miss multiple doses.
