What is the Wegovy dose escalation schedule?

To minimize side effects, Wegovy requires a step by step dose escalation. You will start on a low introductory dose of 0.25mg. Every four weeks, subject to clinical review and your personal tolerability, your dose will gradually increase (0.5mg, 1.0mg, 1.7mg) until you reach the maintenance dose of 2.4mg or the higher 7.2mg dose.
